Dùthchas (n) Scottish Gaelic

Dùthchas stands for the relationship between people, animals, land and sea.

At Dùthchas we offer a tasting menu that is inspired mainly by Scottish seasonal ingredients, using the best quality produce from around the British Isles.

We are working closely with local farmers, suppliers and producers in order to highlight the quality of the produce that is found throughout the year in Britain.

This enables us to create a bespoke dining experience for our customers.

Dining Experience

A six-course tasting menu is on offer which will start with a few canapés, this gives you the opportunity to settle in and enjoy a pre-dinner drink from our drink’s list.

Then you will move into the tasting menu where you will find an array of dishes on offer and a few optional extras.

The food will be presented by the front of house team and the chefs who will give you a description of the provenance and ingredients that are used in the dishes.

Finishing off with an after dinner dram or coffee.

If you wish to amend or cancel your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible. We require 48 hours notice for any cancellations.

Please check the terms and conditions when making the reservation.

As we are a small restaurant and have a small team in the kitchen, we are unable to offer any vegan, vegetarian or dairy free options.

We are able to offer menus suitable for other dietaries like gluten, nut, pescatarian etc.

We offer tables for 1 to 4 guests online.

We do require you to call or email us for table reservations for 5 or more.

Unfortunately, due to our licence we cannot allow children under the age of 6.

Sadly, we don’t have access for wheelchair users, as our toilet is located down a flight of stairs.
